Good Morning!
Field Day is still on! It's a little chilly, so dress your student accordingly, and have them bring a change of clothes there are water activities.
Rain During Family Reunion: If it's raining during the family reunion, we do not have enough room to accommodate all of the parents inside of the building at one time. That being said, if you planned to bring lunch for your child, you may have to send food with them this morning, or drop it off to them today instead of eating with them. I apologize in advance for the possible inconvenience. I will try to keep you posted.

Field Day- please have your child bring a change of clothes

Good Morning Black Hawk Families!

Have a fun and safe weekend!

Car Rider/Walker Dismissal: For the safety of everyone, please read carefully.
This information has been shared multiple times, but for the safety of our children and families, I am sharing it again. The flow of traffic for dismissal starts on Lenox. If you choose to drive down College and park across from the school, your students are able to cross at the cross walk ONLY and get into the car. Families/Children MUST use the crosswalk, and cars are NOT to park in the crosswalk blocking the student safe crossing area. Do not take your child yourself across the street. Also, DO NOT U-turn in the Middle of College and DO NOT pull into driveways. We are constantly reminding students to use the crosswalk and NOT to cross in the middle of the street even with a parent. Please partner with us on this. We expect the students to follow our policies and procedures when they are on/near the premises at all times, and it makes it difficult for students to decide who to listen to when we are not on the same page.
If you do not pick up your student(s) please share this with those who do. When dismissal runs smoothly and safely, dismissal also runs quickly. Safety for students, families and the neighbors is MOST important. Thank you in advance for ensuring the safety of our students and neighbors. Thank You! Mrs. McCorkle, Principal
